Another Layout...

I found another challenge to take part in, and it sounded like a lot of fun so I did it! This was a scraplift challenge, where you had to scraplift Flergs (aka Megan Farrow). Click on her name to go to her blog. To find the challenge, look down her posts to find the one dated Saturday August 23, 2008. For a direct link to the challenge click here, but I highly suggest you check out her blog too. She has some wonderful things.

Anyways, the LO that I was attempting to scraplift was Genius in the making? So what do y'all think? Did I do an okay job for my first scraplift?

The journaling reads:
After a month of watching the gerbils from afar, you
finally got brave enough to actually pet one. Ever
since, whenever you get the chance you pet them.

Click here to see it in the gallery at Scrapbookgraphics.com, as well as the credits.
(Yeah, I know there's a lot of different kits that I used.
I just couldn't find one kit that had all I needed.)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! And don't forget about the Stone Accents Studio designer challenge that's starting in early September.... It really sounds like a great opportunity for designers of all levels. Here's another link to where you can read all about it.

My Latest Layout

I am not very good about keeping up with my scrapping, but I made this for a blog challenge over at Designs by Helly's CT blog. Click on the link to be taken to the blog entry describing the challenge. It runs through August 29th, so you still have some time to enter if you want!

Here's the layout that I made for it:

Little Zachary isn't even 2 years old yet, but loves playing with his big sister's Barbie computer! One day he saw Daddy working on his computer and decided to take the Barbie computer and climb up in Daddy's lap. It was too cute not to take a picture!

Anyways, that's it for now. I know my blog still looks kinda plain, but I'm working on it LOL! In case you hadn't noticed, I added a flag that I had made to the sidebar. If you're interested in having one of your own, it is included in the downloads for Rustic Americana on my other blog. The direct link to the post is here. There is also a desktop made from the kit in another post. OK, enough gabbing LOL! TTYL!

Welcome to my new blog!

Hi everyone! Here is my first post on this blog... My husband kinda pointed out that my previous blog name didn't really make sense, so.... I've decided to start a new blog, with a new title! At the moment, I'm not going to reveal what my title actually means, however it does actually mean something and isn't just random letters LOL. At the moment, I do not have any new freebies to share, however, if you haven't been to my previous blog, I still have freebies over there. You can get to it by clicking here.

Also, I should have some new freebies that you will be able to get to through Stone Accents Studios. I will be participating in their new design contest that starts on September 4th. You can read all about it here. You have to be a SAS member, but it's a great site to be a part of.

I know that right now this blog looks really plain, but I will be working on re-doing it over the next week or so.

Hopefully I'll be back soon with something for ya!
